ABOUT NIGHTINGALE

 GET TO KNOW LAURA GALE

Principal and Founder, Nightingale Coaching & Consulting

Laura is a change-maker who works with change-makers. She is a designer of transformative experiences, a
leadership development practitioner and organizational strategist, an advocate for racial justice, a working mom,
a creative soul and a terrible cook. She is an avid traveler,
a kayak enthusiast, a lover of nature, an entrepreneur,
a space holder and a healer. She works as a leadership
coach, facilitator and change consultant in and beyond
New York City.

Laura's work centers equity and justice and is rooted in the power of human connection and community. She brings particular expertise in the areas of group facilitation, leadership development, change management, team dynamics and culture change. Laura previously served as the Senior
Director of Training and Consulting at Coro Partners, and prior to that, as Director of the Coro Fellows Program.

Laura brings an explicit anti-racist lens; a style that is deep, playful, purpose-driven and authentic;
and a commitment to doing what's necessary to help people unlock greater effectiveness,
partnership and impact. She especially loves designing and leading retreats in beautiful places,
offering participants lovingly curated experiences full of play, connection, visioning and rest. Her
superpowers are bringing deep presence in partnership and designing leadership development frameworks and exercises on the spot.

Laura’s approach draws upon her background in the arts, her own mindfulness and creative practices, and her training with The People's Institute for Survival and Beyond, Social Transformational Project and New Ventures West, among others. She holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Organization Development from The New School, along with undergraduate degrees in Theatre and Sociology.
